Hello,
My middle mouse button doesnt work anywhere anymore.
this mouse uses microsots own drivers so there is no software for it to change middle mouse button settings.
after firefox updated it stopped working everywhere. and i mean everywhere even in games. like it isnt in there anymore at all.
i have even opened my mouse and cleaned it so problem aint in there.
tried replug the mouse. and cant find anything what says middle mouse button in windows 7 32bit settings any help would be appreciated.

Oh crap!

I noticed you mentioned somethign about it using M$ software so wasn't sure.

If it's wireless, change the batteries (not likely the issue but worth a shot).
Does it work in Safe Mode?

I have not yet encountered an instance where Microsoft's drivers could not recognize the middle-button on a mouse. More likely, the driver files used by his system got corrupted. Re-downloading these drivers can fix his issues, though.

battery level is good pretty new batteries and reseiver is allmost taped onto this mouse. and yes it usese microsofts software and drivers. "plug and play" device. wheel works every other way tho but the wheel button doesnt. even those side buttons in wheel works but not that middle button.

Yeah I know :) I mentioned it mainly because of the different options that the software package from the vendor allows, but I do agree that M$ drivers from the HAL usually suffice.

Ummm....wow!

If the wheel even works from side to side then there is something else going on. I'm wondering if there may be something restricting it from working correctly (not physically).

I would recommend running either MalwareBytes Anti-Malwarehttp://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_pro/http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_pro/ or Super Anti-Spywarehttp://www.superantispyware.com/http://www.superantispyware.com/ or even both.

Maybe there is something that followed the Firefox update in that is causing a fluke.

Yeah, trying it on a different computer for something like this is a must have in a situation like this. Let me know what happens and we'll continue from there.
