Razer Nostromo Acting retarded

So I just recieved a Razer Nostromo in the mail today. Excitedly, I plugged it in and to my delight it started glowing all blue-ey and stuff. The keys worked, and would log as
QWER-ASDF-ZXC, space bar, and scroll wheel. So I went over to razerzone.com and downloaded the drivers for it. I installed the drivers and restarted the computer, and then tried to run the config program. The program said that it did not recognize that my device was installed. So I uninstalled the drivers and started again. I downloaded the drivers+firmware, and installed the drivers. My computer said that my nostromo's drivers were installed and that the device was recognized. I then opened the firmware updater. The updater froze up, so I force quit it and tried it again. Didn't recognize the nostromo. Now even the blue glowey lights wont turn on and the computer rarely recognizes it. It wont even type like a normal keyboard. Help please  

tl;dr: My razer nostromo went kaput after <15 minutes, the config. program didnt even recognize it.
