Yes, the AXIAs are reputed to be very overclockable. The letters are on the chip as part of a serial number which indicates where and when it was manufactured. When buying the only way to know the difference is to hand pick the chip yourself (a little hard online) or there are a couple sites I've heard mentioned in the last week that sell them specifically (for a higher price).
Hummm.... I wonder where I could end up with a 1.2GHz AXIA.
Maybe something around 1.5 or 1.6 (good cooler of course) Any of you knows what's the proportion of AXIA being manufactured compared to the overall production of AMD. I would also like to know: Are these CPUs produced simultaneously with "standard" ones or is AMD currently only producing this kind ?
