What processor is best for me

i usually chat with friends or check my office e-mails so please suggest if i-3, i-5 or AMD is a good option for me

anything modern will be fine, just get a system with fast storage (ssd or fast hdd)

If your not doing any sort of gaming (and have no plans too) then pretty much any $400 laptop will suite your needs. If you want you could post a couple of options you looking at buying and we can give you our opinions on which is the best value for what you want to do. There should be a template some where on this website that you can fill out (sorry too lazy to look for me self).
