Asus 21.5 in VE228 Monitor

Hey all, so I have this monitor as described in the title, the Asus 21.5 in Ve228. It has been a good monitor so far (2 months), but as of late I am noticing more and more light coming from all sides of the screen. You can see this white light especially when watching a movie with dark picture. I plan on upgrading my display setup to three monitors in nvidia surround quite soon. Question is, is this white light from all 4 sides of the screen normal with a backlit monitor? And, will this be a good model to use 3 in snync for gaming? Please let me know as it is a very affordable HD monitor and I would hate to get 3 whole new monitors if I dont have to. Thanks for the help,

Backlight bleeding on cheaper monitors is pretty normal. It's not something you want, and may not show up in all of the monitors even in the same model number, but does happen.
