Pretty cool info here, and I mean *cool*. <A HREF="http://www.vr-zone.com/reviews/TBird1333/" target="_new">http://www.vr-zone.com/reviews/TBird1333/</A>
1 gHz "underclocked" Athlon at 1.3 core voltage, with only a heatsink (no fan on) running at 28°C full load. Thermal issues are disappearing with the newer made Athlons.
1.33 gHz AXIA overclocked to 1.61 gHz with air cooling only.
Anyone think AMD will release 300 mHz FSB Athlons anytime soon? Seems like todays motherboards can handle it (KT133A). We have PC-150 SDRAM, and I'm sure faster DDR SDRAM won't be too far on the horizon... We all know that FSB speeds give the best performance gains, so that seems to be the next logical step for chipset and CPU makers.

I don't think they would make a 300MHz FSB. They go in increments of 33MHz usually. Next up should be a 333MHz FSB with the already existing PC166 SDRAM.
