Display corruption on Palm IIIc, OS 4.1

Folks,

My trusty Palm IIIc (3 years) has recently developed a display
problem, manifested by vertical dark lines soon after switching on -
say 30 secs.

The display is fine for a few secs, and then goes this way. Viewing
from the right is better, viewing from the left is worse.

The "nostreak" hack I gather is /only/ for grayscale Palms, and does
not apply to mine (PalmOS 4.1, color screen).

Ideas ?
