Default window size

This isn't really a major problem, but it's something I can't stand anymore. In 98/2000, I could fix this just fine, but for someone reason xp is messing with me.

When you click on a link, or go right click - open in new window, a window pops up (ie 6) How can I make it to where the default window size is maximized? It's always that size about .5cm below being max, so having to maximize every window when I have about 6 thousand open gets old.
Any help would be much...appreciated

Every time i open my window or a new window is opened my windows are max

You're kidding...

The other way that doesn't exactly max is to resize that new windows so it fits the whole screen, then hold down Ctrl while closing that window. The new windows won't open maximized, but it'll take up the whole screen (at least as big as you set it).
