Dell ultrasharp u 2312 hm panel is a true 8 bits ?

No. Basically all e-IPS LCD panels are 6-bit panels. If you want an 8-bit panel, then you need to step up to a H-IPS, P-IPS or S-IPS LCD panel.

I am not a professional, but I do care about image to see my photos.I saw a review where they said the U 2212 has a better contrast than U2312 with a smaller dot pixel, that could mean the U 2212 has better image.What do you think about it?
