While trying to install FontAgent Pro 4 on my newly upgraded Windows 7 Home Premium PC I got the following error:

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC80.CRT,publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="8.0.50727.762",processorArchitecture="x86". Please refer to Help and Support.

I'm not exactly sure what this means, except maybe it's a 64-bit compatibility issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I wrote Insider software and they responded with the following:

"Unfortunately, at this time, FontAgent Pro is not Windows 7 compatible. We are hoping to have an installer available in the next 30 days."

Let's hope so. I would hate to go hunting for another font manager. There are so few good ones out there.

You might try this...
Using Windows Explorer right click on the "FontAgenyPro" .exe program.
Select Properties > Compatibility
Click on the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
Select the mode you wish to use.
