Trying to get some info on my new laptop

Hello,
I'm trying to find out if my laptops graphics really does have 1gb of dedicated memory to it or if they're stretching the truth. My laptop is an acer as5552g-7632.

Specs are as follows:
Phenom II x2 3.0Ghz
ATI Radeon HD 6550 1Gb
500 Gb hdd 5400
4gb ddr3 1066

really thats pretty much sums it up. I've not seen many laptops under 1000 dollars that have 1gb of video ram so I'm just wondering

Hello Joshdevore;

AMD Radeon HD 6650M usually comes with the standard Video Memory / 1GB DDR3 VRAM

Download and install Belarc PC Advisor 8 and have it inspect your laptop to give you more specific details.

Agreed with WR2. They usually are pretty straightforward when it comes to specs.

Another program that you could use along with Belarc that I like is Speccy:
