on sdram systems cas 2 and 4-way interleave

The options are 2,4, and "by SPD"

I'm not sure what "by SPD" means, do you?
And it gets as good, if not a little better performance than "4". Can you explain?

<b>SPD</b> stands for <b>Serial Presence Detect</b>. Meaning it is set to RAM's parameter information that is stored inside the memory module.

4 way interleave is better but to take full advantage don't you need two Sdram modules installed?
