I just purchased the new razr mamba 2012 version and unpacked it and tried to install it.
I first tried on my desktop computer (where i want to use it) and i connected the charching dock, but saw no lights
it didn't got recognized the device (windows 7) but i still folowed the instuctions and followed them correclty and installed the
latest driver from the razer site. restarted windows 7, and a window popped up, saying windows didn't recognize the charching dock.
i tried reinstalling the drivers with the F8 mode while booting the pc (uncertified driver mode) but still no luck, i even tried other usb-ports (2.0 and 3.0) and i tried reinstalling again and again but no luck. also if i just connected the mouse only, it doesnt get recognized.
Then i thought, ok lets try it on my dads laptop, i plug in the dock and it lights up instantly, gets instanly recognized and it works fine, so now i know there's nothing wrong with the hardware, the mouse works fine (on the laptop)
But i dont want to use it on the laptop, i want to use it on my own desktop computer.
When i was trying to connect the charching dock or mouse to my desktop pc i noticed (when i got my headset on) a (almost instant) disconnect sound
The mouse is actually charching from any usb port, but it doesnt seems to
get any power for the glowing led light. I have enough power supply(700w), because i noticed when i schutdown the pc and
then plug in the mouse and boot the desktop pc the led light from the dock does actually light up. so i tried isntalling the drivers over and over again, still no luck and doesnt get recognised.
Also when the led is glowing, as soon as i disconnect it once, i hear the disconnect sound again and it stops glowing. Also the disconnect sound keeps repeating a couple of times if i leave the mouse in the usb port. Can anyone please help
me with this weird problem? all my other devices are working just fine on all the usb ports, its only my new razer that keeps getting instantly disconnected. Thanks in advance!
