After safe mode problems

Hello,
I got the win 7 defender virus and using safe mode with networking, I was able to get rid of the virus and download a free anti-malware program. However now my start screen looks like the old version of windows and when I go on the internet, half of the things that should be there are not, is anyone else having this problem?

You STILL have the Virus...

Use NORTON and MALWAREBYTES to get rid of it...

Do the steps found HERE in reverse and see if that helps. The info on the site is for changing it to Classic view and you are wanting to get it back to Normal view.

It did not work, not only is there no classic start menu, but my internet browser is still missig parts of the websites.
