Hello,
my lap top will not boot or enter bios settings, when f2 is pressed it says - entering setup,...............& never does! tried removing ram,pressing all buttons,tried a different hard disc....

You may want to breadboard the machine - remove all the parts from it that aren't necessary to POST and see if she'll boot up.

Did you swap your memory modules?

Else, you can always try unplugging it and removing the battery on the motherboard and let the CMOS drain. Have you looked for a BIOS update?
