In windows 7 dvd writer is not detecting wrtten rewritable cd

Hello,
I have sony vio pre-installed with Windows Vista.

As Vista was very slow I formatted the system and installed Windows 7.

Now I able to run DVD as well CD, but when I insert rewritable CD or DVD it does not detect and on clicking on drive a massage comes as 'pl insert the disc.'

Did you install all the Windows 7 drivers for your Vaio model from the Sony Vaio website? http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/hub/VAIO
