Hello all,

first post for me :) Just a quick question. I bought an athlon GHz system. I noticed my asus m-board info (A7V133) stating a core voltage of 1.84V I thought that was pretty high (stress temp = 67C). I searched the AMD site but did not find info about core voltages. Do any of you know where to find this info, or could you supply it yourself?

Thanx in advance,

Sjappo

I believe you can set it to auto so that it will determine what it needs, but as far as I know 1.75v is enough for a 1Ghz and even higher.

1.75V eh? Strange. Got to work on it I guess. Thanx in any case.

it is 1.85 V officially, but you may reduce it to 1.7 to 1.8 and check the stability. if you do succeed you will get a cooler system, but you wont be able to overclock at that voltage since overclocking often needs increasing the core voltage. you could get some better cooling gear then.

Ahoy, matey!

I think it's 2.3V, officially. Crank it up and grab some marshmallows!

Whoooo-Hoooooo!
