first thr was windows 7 in c drive .. then while trying for clean installation i installed in another (D) drive . . i tried formattin c drive but i couldnt . it says i have system partition in c drive and boot partition in d drive . . while starting windows i got both os asking frm which to strt . i googled and removed one of the os but just while starting , but the os is still thr in my c pls

Windows has to be installed on the C: drive

If you want a good, clean installation disconnect all hard drives an ssds except the one you want to load it on. Then during installation delete all partitions from your target drive and use the whole drive for your installation. Then re-connect the other drives and format if you want or use the data that's there. Good luck...
