Wireless connection

I have Sprint DSL in my home and use a microsoft wireless
card in my lap top. When traveling to other cities I do
not receive a signal when in wireless locations such as a
Hampton Inn. How do I configure the lap top to receive a
signal?

Did you change the SSID setting for your adapter to "ANY", or to the SSID
recommended?
