Is there any sort of adapter that makes it so I can hook up my camcorder to my computer? I have S-video, and the normal color plug-ins. Can only do usb

I also have another camera that only has the color ones, but I can do firewire, and usb if that helps.

Old System:packard Bell Legend 3550,200 mhz cpu,72mb ram,8mb video,2gb hdd.
NEW System:ECS N2U400-A,512 mb ram,AMD Athlon 2500+, 64 mb video, SOUND, on board lan, USB Ports, 120 Gb HDD

If your camcorder only has composite out (yellow, red, white plugs) you can view/record video to your computer via a tv tuner card or a video capture card.
Depending on the quality you want you can get a usb video capture device for about $50 or a tv tuner for about $30. You will probably have much better results with a video capture device.
