so I went on google and typed " lenovo 3000 n100 (type 0768) audio driver" and clicked on the first link: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/detail.page?LegacyDocID...

that was hard wasn't it? please use google to look up drivers its 2 clicks away

Thank you for your answer, but ... I arrived here after trying several solutions, including drives recommended by Lenovo. none of them work.
