Black screen with Intouch with Tomorrow Toshiba came up then disappeared. Held down F12 and then this screen stays with 5 icons at the bottom. Don't know what to do now. Windows XP and Internet Explorer.

How old is your laptop? From the model number I'm assuming that it's a pretty old machine. When you get the screen with the 5 icons, you need to use the arrow keys to switch over to the one that looks like a hard drive. Then you press enter and it'll boot from your harddrive.

What we need to know is whether this is an issue with Windows or with your machine.

Thanks for replying. Not sure just how old it is as I inherited it from a relative who is no longer with us.
Which one looks like a hardrive? Sorry for being a bit dense. The first one looks like discs, the second like one disc, the third looks like an old floppy disc the fourth like two PCs and the fifth - I don't know.
