I currently have a SMC Wireless Network installed, and a
256K Modem, My PC Specs are:

3.6 GHz
160 GB HD
512 MB RAM
Radeon 9600 Pro 256MB DDR
XP Home

My Older PC, which is run on the network has:

1 GHz
60 GB HD
512 MB RAM
ATI Rage 128
Windows ME

My Problem is related to an online game of Warcraft III,
or Counter-Strike, Half-Life, etc. I can play each of
these games for a few minutes without any lagging what-so-
ever, but after a few minutes into the game I will
recieve lag for 5-10 seconds. But, when I had my Older PC
taken to be fixed, I unplugged my SMC Wireless Router,
and everything was fine. I have tried disabling XP's
Wireless Zero Service, and still no luck. Does anyone at
all have any fix for this?

I would contact a support group for your router, or check the required ports
for your specific games, including the setup procedure. This newsgroup
supports Microsoft's Broadband Networking hardware and software only, not
networking in general.
