I dropped my T3 today and it landed on it's face. The screen is not broken,
but it just shows a load of narrow vertical lines and is locked up. All the
buttons are unresponsive and it will not soft or hard reset.
Have I killed it?

You most likely dislodged some of the internal connections.
Take it apart and try to resinsert the ribbon cables.

That happened to mine just after I bought it. Let the battery run
down completely then recharge it. Do a hard reset and then sync.
Everything should restore and the T3 should be fine.

I let the battery run down and it had reset itself and come back to life. A
lucky escape.
