I've got a promising Ranger going (AC -30, 229 HP, done Quest, Mines,
Soko). I just killed Scorpius and went back to my stash in the main
dungeon to ID and drop off a load of stuff before going back to the
Quest to clear out the bottom level. Unfortunately on the way back
down I got a bit trigger happy and ran into Orion whilst wielding
Stormy. Orion was a bit irritated that I'd attacked him and banished
me from the Quest. I assume there's no way to get back in?

I'm glad I picked up the bell and the Longbow of Diana on the first
trip - I almost left them down there for the return visit! They're
currently safely in my stash.

PS - Scorpius really isn't that scary, is he?

That depends on whether or not you have a reliable means of curing
sickness. If you only have a blessed unicorn horn, and he gets some
sickening attacks in, he can be as dangerous ad Demogorgon, since your
horn might not heal you twice in a row.

Doesn't happen very often, but when it does, you'll understand why he's
one of the most feared Quest Nemeses.

I would think the Eye of the Aethiopica would do it.
