So are any of these computers capable of running newer types of games and are they generaly good choices for a laptop? Also please specify the reason. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forums, you are in the right place to post. from those three laptops either the asus and msi would be good. I find that msi notebooks are alot easier to take apart and clean. The specs you will definitely be able to run all games out on high with 1366x768 and in fhd expect to run medium-high in current games. I think i would lean towards the msi (because i like to clean and mod), but the asus has the hybrid hdd which will boot faster and thats the only benefit. So i think ill give asus the advantage on that. Id go with the asus.

edit: no need to put the spoilers for all those specs, i had to click on all them to see the specs just post them right under next time.

I didn't check the laptops. But prices will drop and second generation i5's and i7's (better and more efficient performance) should be re-released soon so that you should come post in the forums again a week before your purchase.
