Mr Benoit, Are retail AMD's ever aluminum? You said that the Texas plant only makes Aluminum chips. Does that mean that Retail chips don't come from that plant at all? I got my eye on a Retail AMD 1.33 266fsb cpu from an online retailer out of Texas and I'm a little concerned. After reading your posts or dare I say sermons..I am convicted to a retail cpu. It does come in box with 3 year warrenty
Thank You

You might get better response if you sent him a private msg.

But my guess is that you can assume you're getting copper
since:
1) its a retail box
2) its over 1.2 GHz

Might wanna check it out to be sure though.

Intel Components, AMD Components... all made in Taiwan!
