Pls help!!!

i was browsing on net, and suddenly my system was going to restart. my browser closed and backgroung programs were closing, and i pressed cancle. then when i started mozilla again, it said failed to start application.ini. then i restarted my computer manually, then i saw all my installed softwares are missing. i had 16GB left in my C drive and now its 18GB left. and when i clicked on any softwares shortcut, it says me its unavailable. and tells to delete the shortcut.pls help!!!! wat to do?
im running windows 7 ultimate build 7600
