Have you installed drivers for you wifi adapter yet? Also, open network and sharing center from the control panel and click on change adapter settings on the left. Tell us if you see a Wireless adapter.
Most likely if you can search for a WiFi and see nothing its driver related. the thing I do is go into computer management by right clicking my computer. Then going to device manager then network adapters. Find the one that says WiFi and hit uninstall but don't remove the driver it will ask you. Then go to the top and hit scan for changes it looks like a button with a computer on it and it will reinstall the driver and you should be all set.. I get that problem alot with laptops and that always fixes it
