5.1 speaker system

i need help!
i had Hyundai 5.1 surround system. but recently my sub woofer crashed. so now i have 5 speakers which i cant do anything.... so is there way to connect these to my PC or can i buy just a sub woofer without speakers?

Without an exact model number, or specifications, of the surround system I can only assume that the speakers used the sub-woofer as an amplifier. If so, the speakers are passive and can be powered by an amplifier of your choice, but wait. This largely also depends on how the speakers were connected to the amplifier. If the speaker connections are RCA, bare wire, or proprietary connections this will effect your choices in the matter.

5 speakers were connected to the sub directly wires. just black and black with white strip wires. no RCA cables. but sub connect to the PC or DVD Player via RCA cables.
