Lcd monitor not working

my view sonic va1912w monitor is not on when computer is statup

Is it getting any power and just no display or neither?

If power but no display, reseat the cables, try the monitor with another computer. If neither of those fixed things, you can try a new cable.
If that did not fix, monitor is dead.

There are places that fix monitors but generally it's not worth the cost, be about the same price to buy a new one with a new warranty.
