Does it do the same thing on a different USB port on the same computer?

Does the "magic box" require special drivers? Who makes the device?

Yes it does the same on all usb ports. No it does not require special drivers. OESB makes the devise. Had this same problems once and they told me what to do on the phone but they no longer take calls.

It does indeed require drivers for proper functionality. The manual is located HERE and indicates as such.

Have see all OESD has to say about the drivers/manuals/windows 7 and have done all that. My program works just the way it says to do it...then when it is time to write the card the usb port is unrecognized. Maybe I am not explaining it correctly, but it seems to be a problem with the usb port not with windows running the program or recognizing the actual box?? Thanks for your help anyway and taking the time to answer me.
