G500 Mouse disconnect

are you using on-board memory? If you are swap over to the computer memory. Other than that try to uninstall then reinstall the newest version of logitech gaming software (I think it's 8.40)

The latest LGS software, that made the G500 work with that package, instead of SetPoint, has had many issues. You may be best off using Set Point instead of LGS 8.4

Try what he said, I originally used Setpoint on my G500 and it worked fine, but I accidentally dropped it, broke the mouse wheel clickers, and I got a G600! I have to say that the G600 is an amazing mouse, so if you are thinking about a new mouse, check it out. on ebay ther is a guy outletmp3. He has manufacturer refurbished, basically brand new for $53

Try out the G600 first, or at least buy it from some place with a good return policy. The G600 is not for everyone. Some people like it, others don't. I personally disliked it and got a G700 instead.
