ASUS or HP monitors?

Hey ya'll, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are just around the corner and I figure now would be as good a time as any to get myself a new monitor. I'm looking for a 23" and above monitor and my price range at the moment is $200, though hopefully I can try and squeeze out another $50 to spend on one. Right now these two have monitors have caught my eye.

Without truth be told I'm not sure what brand I should stick with. I've heard great things about ASUS but as per other brands, I'm in the dark.
