Battery replacement fix

Hello - I bought a larger battery for my ASUS UL30 from China. It fits fine and powered the laptop, but the laptop wouldn't recognize or charge it. What can I do to get the laptop to charge the battery?

That's the danger of buying "discount" items like that from China- they are incompatible. You can try and get in touch with Acer on the matter to see if they know away around it. Otherwise, you'll probably have to buy an actual Asus battery for it to charge.
