is a dual duron system worth it? or is dual athlon that much better? (price and performance taken into consideration)

dual athlon would be much better I guess

As you probably know; neither can be purchased today.. It'll be a few months before you can.

Given the price indication of $800 for an SMP board.. You'd be crazy to get Durons.

I wouldn't be surprized if Dual Northwood's w/ VIA PX266 for alot cheaper. Bad Move AMD.

I wouldn't mind getting a VIA PX266 if the south bridge has no problems and its nice and stable.

The only nice Intel guy.
