Hi, peoples. I'm delurking to ask a question that's puzzled me for a
while now. Occasionally in a post I will see a reference to "tinning" a
monster corpse. How would one go about doing this?

Thanks,

Obtain a tinning kit.
Apply it with a corpse on the floor.
Tin corpse.
Tinning kits are sometimes found in shops.

Apply a tinning kit while standing on the corpse.

Apply a tinning kit while standing on the same square as the corpse or
with the corpse in your inventory.

Tinning will remove any poison or taint from meat (so you can safely eat
tinned meat from giant zombies to gain strength, for instance, or killer
bee meat to get poison resistance). Any intrinsic-granting property stays
intact. Non-poison effects (getting stunned by bat meat, hallucinating
from fungus) also stay intact.

Please excuse me for not knowing, but what does "top-post" mean?

Top-posting is when you put your reply above the quoted text. Example:
This is wrong:

|Top-posting.
|Someone wrote:

And this is right:

|Someone wrote:
|> What are you not supposed to do?
|
|Top-posting.

It means that you put your answer above the message that you're replying
to. Don't. Put your answer *below* the message that you're replying to,
and, in the meanwhile, remove everything that you're *not* replying to.

You can find more information about this in the FAQ of thins newsgroup,
which you really should have read before posting. It's posted twice per
month, and can also be read at http://www.spod-central.com .

Sorry, that should have been:

Also, you could have a look at
