IPS Monitor Buzzing/Humming ?

I recently purchased a brand new ASUS PA238QR monitor and noticed that when I change the display mode to "Game" and "Night View" I hear a very slight "humming/buzzing". It's almost not noticeable when my computer is running but when the room is completely quiet and the monitor is only on, its quite audible when it's in those two modes.

I just upgraded from a 6 year old Gateway FPD2185W monitor, and that one made a buzzing noise when I would decrease the brightness past 90%.

Is this "normal" for an IPS type monitor ?

The sound is caused by the electronic components used for the monitor not the screen itself. IPS panels do not make any sound same like other LCD tech.

I kind of understand what you mean, but , at the same time. Why is the sound made by the electronic components inside the monitor "audible" (Specifically in the two settings/modes I mentioned) ?
