My monitor is definitely on the way out and I require a replacement. However, many of the suggestions on this board and elsewhere I haven't been able to find on store websites in my region. I've selected 2 potential purchases but I have no idea if they are good price/quality wise.

I've included the links to said websites so that you can browse the stores for better alternatives if my selection seems weak.

are these good price/quality ratio wise? Also, which between these would be best?

If pressed, I may up my max price to something around €140, but I'd rather not.

Also, I'll be using this monitor for gaming as well as general work stuff (mostly working with text documents).

The only real difference between them that I can see is that the AOC has a better contrast ratio. That said Samsung is going to be higher quality, so less likely you are going to have problems with it down the line.
