Why does the AC adapter suggested by toshibadirect.com have a higher amperage versus the one that came with my laptop (3.42A v 6.3A respectively)!?

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite M645-S4065

AC Adapter that came with laptop
Part Number: PA3714U-1ACA
AC: 100V 1.5A 50-60Hz
DC: 19V 3.42A

AC Adapter suggested by toshibadirect.com via the AC Adapter finder
Part Number: PA3717U-1ACA
Power: 120V-240V/ 50-60Hz Frequency (Universal) input voltage, 19V x 6.3A output

Solution
It will be fine. It just allows up to 6.3A to be drawn instead of only 3.42A. The 120W adapter will be heavier. BTW if you want to buy the 65W one you have just enter the part number PA3714U-1ACA into toshiba direct.

OK. So the advantage of having the higher amperage AC adapter is quicker chargers? Are there any downsides?
