Looking for 21-23 inch $200-300 gaming monitor, 3D a plus

It has been hard to find decent reviews of monitors, many of them are in the 25-27 inch range, outdated, or all over the place in specs, however I did find a few reviews and wanted opinions on them. Primary for gaming but I would like to watch movies too on it if I can manage to get a 3D screen.

I am looking for a roughly 21 to 23 inch LCD which supports HDCP and has at the very least a DVI and HDMI input. IPS is highly preferable to TN although not a strict requirement, and if possible, 3D support would be nice. Would have preferred active 3D, but that seems to be nearly nonexistant for screens below 24 inches, plus seriously drives up the price. Preferably a 1920x1080 16:9 aspect too, but 16:10 aspect isn't going to kill me.

Was looking to pay around $200-250, but willing to go up to $300 is the quality is really that much worth it.

First set of reviews I found was this one on cnet, although much to my annoyance all of them were TN panels:

Out of those five, I discredited the LG IPS235V because of the extremely slow response rate (14ms just for GTG! From my understanding even most IPS screens have better response rates going from Black to White, much less GTG) and the Samsung SyncMaster S23A350H because of no DVI.

So that leaves these three:
LG Glatron x2350v:

Only real issue I have with this one is that its a TN panel. This one seems to be the best TN panel out of all the ones listed in this post.

Asus vh236H:

Seems decent, although apparently not as good as the LG above, and its also a TN panel. Also, I wanted to ask, the cNet review is from as recent as November 29 2012, yet there is already an Asus vh242h available for about the same price. Did the 242 just come out or something? Or is it inferior to the 236?

HP x3201:

TN Panel, and I was worried about the mentions that it has a somewhat green tint? Supposedly unnoticeable unless compared to a higher end screen but they keep mentioning that they noticed it. I do like the design of integrating the buttons and connections on the base of the stand however.

I also ran into this set of reviews (granted, using British pounds, but all of these appear to be available in the US):

Three of them caught my eye:
Asus PA238Q

This appears to be the best non-3D IPS panel out of all the ones mentioned in this post, not really anything more to say about that.

Dell UltraSharp U2412M:

I remember being told (and being surprised since I know their pc's quality is lacking) that Dell makes some of the best LCD screens. This one seems to be very good quality, but its pretty pricey for a no-frills screen, and 24 inches is kinda big for my computer desk.

LG DM2350D:

This one appears to be great in many aspects, but has many bells-and-whistles that I have no need for, like the TV tuner, which drive up the price for me. The 3D option is nice however. What worries me however is that it for some reason can play 2D Blu-Rays from a PC just fine, but can't play 3D Blu-Rays from a PC, only from a standalone Blu-Ray player. Dosen't seem to make much sense to me since if it can work with a standalone Blu-Ray player obviously the throughput required for 3D video and HDCP support is there.... makes no sense to me, but then again, I don't know all the DRM-issues involved in playing a Blu-Ray on a PC beyond both the card and screen supporting HDCP over a digital connection. Also, its a TN screen...

And finally, just to see what they had, I did a power search for 3D monitors with these limits in mind on Newegg. The results were pretty scarce, only 7 results, and two of them were refurbished which I won't even consider, so that left 5 total:

Unfortunately, none of these appear to be any decent. The Asus one is the only one with halfway ok reviews, but that's just it, it appears to only be "ok", and apparently has reviewers complaining of practically non-existent driver support.... as in had to hunt down the drivers from a 3rd party dead site because Asus didn't have them on theirs. Apparently they are needed for the 3D support and more advanced functions.

If only that 3D Asus monitor in the newegg results was better quality or the Asus PA238Q mentioned in that techradar review had 3D, the choice would have already been made for me...

Anyway, so what are your thoughts or opinions? Should I go with one of these? Or do you have any better ones in mind? Are there any good ones with all the optional requirements I want like ISP and 3D in my price range?

Thanks for your input.
