Hello everyone,

I've been researching several monitors and I was wondering if there were specific models that are very good for just FPS gaming and watching videos/movies.

REQUIREMENTS:
-The screen has to be around 21-24 inches, it can't be too big.
-I prefer a glossy display over a matte display but it doesn't really matter.
-The resolution has to be at least 1920x1080, maybe better.
-The response rate has to be good enough to do FPS gaming such as CoD or Battlefield.
-The design doesn't really matter but I prefer to have a better looking monitor to go with my set up.
-The monitor has to be under $300.

The monitors I have in mind right now are:

AOC i2353ph : http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1611999&CatId=4420

ASUS VS229H-P : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236205

ASUS PA238Q : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236201

Are there any models other than these that match my preferences?

Thank you!

Millor

I had came here to post about the exact same question, with just about the same requirements so I'll hop in here as well... The one I was looking at was http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824216022 and I was mainly drawn to it from the refresh rate, because I know I want something higher than 60Hz, but I know 120Hz is very expensive. The only thing my friend could say about it was that the 250 cd/m2 brightness may be to low, but as far as I've seen, that's pretty much normal.

Hey Millor, I have decided to purchase the ASUS VG23AH because of the semi glossy screen, and the IPS display. It has been receiving many positive reviews and I have decided to go for it. It costs around $250 so it is a bit more expensive than the ones I was looking at.
