I need some help, trying to play around with redhat 8.0. Formatted my HD, using a 2gb primary partition for windows 2k, also created and extended 8gb partition for use with windows. Was going to use the extra 30gb for redhat but it won't let me run the disk druid. will let me create my 200mb boot partition, and around 27gb for /. But bombs out when I'm trying to give the rest to /swap. Any ideas?? And what kind of problems will I get when trying to get these two to co-operate?

Should I redo the process and put Linux at the beginning of the drive, and windows at the end, but leave enough space for windows?

Not really sure as to going about getting these two to show on Lilo either. Any help would be appreciated, sorry for the noobness.

Got it to work, erased windows partitions, and all linux partitions. Made Windows primary 1.5gb, then installed win2k. Then installed Linux with around 15gb, and leaving the rest empty which I'll go back and make an NTFS extended partition. Seems to work ok and Lilo recognized both OS's without a hitch.
