My toshiba webcam has disappeared frommy toshiba satellite l755-s5256

I rebooted my labtop everything came back ok but the webcam application that normally is under utilities i went to toshiba website installed their so called application but it's not doing anything, what can i do to get it back.

did you download the drivers for it directly from toshiba website?

If you already tried that, since i reread your post im not sure why i asked that anyway. i would proceed from here....

Go to run and type services.msc
check for Plug and Play and see if the status is started and startup type automatic

now go to Computer right click and go to manage.
Click on device manager.
Remove the camera drivers
Restart the computer and let it rereconize the device and it may just install the software.
