What sound setting am I missing?

In Win 2K, I have to set all master volumes to nearly zero, because the windows sounds (clicking the start button,or any other typical windows sound, etc...) is unbelievably loud. The rest of my audio playback is low though. What am I missing?

Double-click on your <b>speaker icon</b> (locates at right bottom corner of your screen), slide down the bar of <b>Wave/Something...</b> until you feel it's OK. You might want to increase bars of <b>CD Audio</b> and <b>Midi</b> more.

Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
