MAN this is annoying. All im trying to find are WORKING Diamond savage 4 drivers for a new (second hand) PC containing a:
Diamond Savage 4 A50 graphics card.
(win98 prefered and win2k)
But the number of dud links, redirects and crap ive had to wade through is amazing. The diamond website of course is COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY useless, having being taken over by sonic blue.
Additionally... does anyone know of a program that can detect any old video card and work out what it is??? A kind of global program perhaps?
Windows 2000 has Savage4 drivers built in. For Windows 98, go to the Diamond Multimedia (S3/Sonic Blue) website and look in the driver section for video card drivers. They are posted, you just have to look a bit.

UPDATE: Me and angel there gave up trying to get the win98 drivers, and upgraded to win2k. The drivers were automatically installed with a minimum of fuss. Thanx
