Im currently running a windows xp prof box, and im having problems with it,
either blocking or not recieving info through port 80 and etc. What happens
is when i connect it to my home network(and a friends) it kills the internet
connection only allowing odd port numbers to come threw(like teamspeak,
running on port 8888)i can still ping out but like i said IE dosnt access any
webpage whatsoever. Ive tried a fresh reinstall to try and solve the problem
but nothing works, its frustrated me all day as to why its not working, tried
a diff nic card, reinstalled drivers, etc etc etc, ive exhoisted all the
knowledge i know, any suggestions?

This newsgroup supports Microsoft's Broadband Networking hardware and
software, not networking in general. I suggest you post to the
microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web newsgroup.
If you're having difficulties with the web based newsgroup interface, you
may want to know you can use a news reader (like Outlook Express) to access
the msnews.microsoft.com news server and subscribe to any of Microsoft's
newsgroups you wish. No logon, no password, and it is free to anyone no
matter your Internet Service Provider.
