Looking for a new laptop

Hello to everyone!
I'm currently looking for a new laptop, I need it to be good at graphics, I'm usually using modeling software like maya, and etc... I'm kinda lost in all those new CPU's like i3 i5 and i7 please help me to choose a good model, please name me some cause maybe I won't be able to find some in my country. my budget is about 1000-1250 bucks but I can add a bit more if there is a good reason.

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? Kinda...
5. How much battery life do you need? Avrage, about 1:30 - more, I guess it's enough for me

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? well, It's miainly not for the games, but for 3d modeling so I guess it somewhere close

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.) 3d modeling and watching full hd movies

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? 300 (500+ is preffered)

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? I don't care as far as I can buy an external one

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. I want those who don't over heat and they have a good quality, I heard lenova are low quility (but maybe some models are good, I'm not sure, that's why I ask

13. Please tell us any additional information if needed. basicly I need this laptop to run good 3d modeling software like maya and being able to watch hd movies on my tv (so hdmi out is a must)

thanks for your reply! 1st I haven't ever heard of this brand 2nd I couldn't find in my country a laptop from this brand, 3rd I would still prefer 13-14, maybe you can guide me and tell me for what proccesor should I look and what type of GPU card?

HP Envy 14 is a good choice(14") and if you prefer 13",have a look at Acer timelineX 4820

the acer has Ati Radeon 5470 graphic card is it enough?

I double checked the Acer one, and the exact model name is
Acer Aspire TimelineX 4820TG which is powered by 5650M.If you still can't find it,then are there any notebooks available there with 5650M ?

Yes 6550M will give you pretty much the same performance of 5650M(if not faster)

As for ASUS A42,well the specs look great but I don't recommend a 14" notebook with a quad core CPU(because of overheating problems)
