Acer aspire one 0532h-2789 netbook questions

i have an acer aspire computer and there is a screen that says media test failure, check cable....how can i fix this?

Something like PXE media test failure?
If yes, it means the netbook was trying to boot from the network adapter as an alternative boot device because it can't find the hard drive or can't find any boot files on it. This may or may not mean that the hard drive has failed, so you need to test it to find out.
Download SeaTools for DOS from here: http://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/seatools/
Just save it for the time being.
Now download & install IMGBurn: http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgburn/
Use IMGBurn to create a CD from the SeaTools ISO file.
Now boot your Acer from that CD & SeaTools for DOS will open.
Select the Acer's hard drive and test it using the long/extended test.
