I have a bit of a problem. I have an apple airport (yes I know, everyone is
gonna hate me for being a mac user, sorry, but the software i need works
better on macs) and would like to connect my Xbox to the network. I bought
the wireless adapter for the box, and it finds my network with no problems.
It tells me that I am connected, and that I have excellent reception, but when
I go to set up my LIVE Acct. it tells me that I am not connected and then it
can't find my ISP. What do I need to do?

Thanks in Advance
Flo

the Aple Airport is probably not UPnP/Live compatible. You will
probably need to forward some ports. There is some general info on the
XBOX Live web site that may help you.

Hi,
when I go to setup my Wireless xbox adapter, it connects to my network
with no problems. It finds it instantly and also tells me that my connection is
excellent. When I leave to connect to Xbox live, I get this message:
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/ [...] mplete.htm

If it wasn't compartible, i assume I couldn't connect to the network at all,
right?
Now I have no idea what I should do, any input would be appreciated.

Flo

You really should find an Airport support forum and ask there about
issues using the Airport router. The error message suggests you need
to find out the DNS server IPs that your ISP uses (probably get them
from the Airport which is why you need an Airport support forum) or
call your ISP and then configured these in the XBOX connectivity setup
where you can use manual DNS. You still may also need to forward
ports. The airport is apparently not compatible without special
configuration and I urge you to check with other airport users in an
appropriate forum to see how they solved this problem.
